What's covered?
Accidents happen… but don't worry! Your sauna tent is protected from accidental stains and damage such as rips, tears and burns not caused by fire for the term of your protection plan. This plan does not cover theft or damage caused by abuse or misuse, so be nice to your stuff. You can find more details in the Protection Plan Terms and Conditions below.
When is it covered?
This protection plan works a little differently than standard warranties. Your protection begins on the date your product is delivered and continues for the full term of the plan you selected, based on the terms and conditions of your plan. The coverage for mechanical damage, though, starts after the manufacturer’s warranty expires. An example might make it a little clearer… Let's say you purchased a product with a three-year manufacturer's warranty along with a two-year accident protection plan from Extend. The plan provides coverage for accidental damage from date of delivery plus two years. Since your manufacturer's warranty covers your product for mechanical damage through the first year, then your coverage for certain mechanical failures would begin. Extend’s protection plan would protect you from mechanical and electrical damage after your manufacturer warranty expires through the second year. Make sense?
